Since 1991 when Riverside Recruitment was established, Riverside has had a positive foothold in the support of personnel to a vast majority of businesses in the historical city of Carlisle.
Covering Cumbria and SW Scotland, Riverside is renowned for the high level of personal service to both its clients and workforce. Initially only supplying construction trades, Riverside Recruitment very rapidly established itself as a “one stop” supplier of both temporary and permanent staff for all disciplines.
Setting up business from a portacabin in the car park in 1991, Riverside is now a multimillion pound brand business well respected by the local community and supplying personnel to over 400 businesses.
In 2005 following the floods of Carlisle, a purpose built £400k state of the art Head Office was constructed employing more than 14 full-time staff and peaking at over 500 contract workforce proving that nothing stops Riverside from achieving it’s goals under any circumstances.
Carlisle HQ administrates the company’s other offices in Workington and Poland under the watchful eye of its branch manager Kevin Mackie.
